Ka-Raceing e.V.

passion for motorsport, motivation and ambition - this unites about 60 members to ka-raceing, the formula student team of the karlsruhe institute of technology (kit). each year we develop, design, manufacture and test a race car with combustion engine and an electric racing car. with these vehicles, we start at formula student competitions around the world and compete against more than 500 teams from international universities. the team is composed of students with a wide variety of disciplines - mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, economics and physics. our team is organized as a small business - each individual sub-team have responsibility for a particular part of the vehicles. each member is responsible for a component or a task of his subteam - headed by subteam leaders. they meet several times a week in the so-called assembly, where all important decisions are made. the professional organisation is our basis to design and build
