the artisans of south asia hold a special place in our hearts. their body of work is incredibly diverse, ranging from the ancient taj mahal to modern urban photography. whether it is carpentry, metalwork, carpet making, embroidery or the like - we have great respect for the time and effort they have devoted into mastering their craft. in both hindi and urdu, kaarigar is the word for ‘artisan’. we have named our business after these skilled craftspeople because we represent them. by offering their handmade works, we hope to bring a small piece of south asian culture to the community in which we are located.
