the kai project is a non-profit social enterprise committed to providing hope, mentoring, skills, and job placement to those who, for whatever reason, are not able to find employment - people who just need a hand up, not a hand out. how will we do this? our experiential culinary training program gives people the skills they need to walk right into a job. and, with our committed team cheering them on, they will have the confidence they need to run into a brighter future. but it doesn’t stop there. our students will learn not only food preparation skills, but also food service and restaurant management practices. led by award-winning chef of the nation (australia/new zealand) brent southcombe, kai cuisine--catering with a difference--will be available to all those who appreciate really good food. an executive chef with 25 years’ experience working around the globe, brent is equally as passionate about food as he is about helping people and seeing them reach their god-given potential.
