patient, reflective, and contrarian investment management kaleidic associates was founded by laeeth isharc in 2011, and strives to provide patient, reflective and contrarian insights on the global economy and selected investment markets to institutional clients and family offices. laeeth isharc graduated with an ma in economics from trinity college, cambridge, where his particular interests were the economics of monetary equilibrium and hayek’s theory of the business cycle. he started his career in 1996 as an interest rate exotics and hybrids trader in london working with the former o’connor group then recently acquired by sbc warburg, before moving on to run the japan interest rate strategy for d.e. shaw in new york. following d.e. shaw he joined citadel investment group in london, where he was co-head of the fixed income group in london.
