we do social networking, in the real world. kalerion is a mobile and web infrastructure that allows people in social networks to find each other in the real world. kalerion allows people within online social networks to be aware of and interact with each other when offline. mutual proximity between consenting members is detected using our proprietary software jivebug™ running on the mobile handsets of end users. the same software then provides the transport layer to facilitate communication between and among users who are determined to be proximate. the service presently consists of a family of mobile apps, a facebook application and kalerion’s own website. being in a social network can be incredibly useful, but typically that usefulness is lost whenever you step away from your pc. kalerion makes social networking useful both online and off, by putting you in touch with your friends and contacts at the moment it is most helpful: when they are close.
