kalilo celtic fc is a community soccer team which was started with a view of helping school dropouts (boys) within the communities of zambia develop a career out of football. we are currently playing in lusaka provincial division one. the founders of the club noticed a huge problem in their communities, over-drinking among the youths, and as a way of helping these boys keep busy and refrain from illicit activities, kalilo celtic fc was born. thus far, an idea which started in passing has gone on to be registered in the football association of zambia professional league and now supports over 25 athletes with 10,000+ active fans. our desire is to get promoted and one day play in the zambia super league and most importantly, create an avenue for these athletes to earn a living for themselves and their families. if you at any point feel like supporting this initiative, please reach out to us and together, we can make our communities better places to live in.
