kalparrin is wa's largest community of families caring for children with disability and special needs. based at princess margaret hospital, with members throughout the whole of western australia, we are an information and social hub connecting families to supports. with more than 10,000 members and utilising a powerful peer support model, parents join kalparrin to find and share information, recommendations and referrals. they also come to connect with other parents and families who understand the joys and challenges of parenting a child with special needs. member services include:- in hospital support program - for inpatient and out patient families next steps program - to help parents identify available supports and plan local meet ups - for families to connect with other families in their local area online peer support group - wa's largest facebook group for parents of children with special needs inclusive family events - for families to take part in community activities in a safe,
