our mission: k96s is committed to supporting and honoring first responder k9s who detect, protect and serve our communities by giving them care packages and assisting with educational opportunities and medical expenses. retired k9 care packages we are starting care packages for all retired first responder k9s who remain with their handler during retirement. each box contains treats and toys for the senior dog. we are hoping to expand this program to include onsite k9 unit visits, where we bring treats for both handlers and their k9 partners (to discuss how we can assist their k9 unit). continuous k9 training we assist with k9 educational seminars, conferences and courses. if your k9 unit would like to attend a conference let us know. retired k9 medical & shelter program when requested, k96s will help with raising funds to assist with medical bills and to provide sanctuary for any retired first responder k9 that does not remain with their handler. kanine six sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) org
