the kansas city infertility awareness foundation (kcia) is a nonprofit organization created to provide educational opportunities, support, and encouragement for those struggling to grow their family. to recognize national infertility awareness week in april, kcia facilitates an annual family building conference. at the annual conference fertility doctors, counselors, and community leaders come together to sponsor and present information to acknowledge infertility, raise awareness of various ways to build a family, and offer resources to those dealing with it. in addition to organizing the annual family building conference, kcia also facilitates a monthly support group to provide year-round support and encouragement to those struggling to grow their family. for more information about the annual family building conference and/or the monthly support group meetings, please visit our website at http://www,kcinfertility.org.
