Kansas City Senior Theatre

we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit group of professionals and volunteers. our mission is to provide creative arts and aging programs that connect generations through shared life stories. we customize our programs, on-site in a variety of settings: retirement communities assisted living centers, senior centers, community centers, adult day centers, nursing centers, and rehabilitation centers, libraries, churches, and schools. we adapt programming according to the needs and interests of different individuals and groups. we work with adults and children with special needs, persons with alzheimer's dementia, women who have experienced domestic violence, families in homeless shelters, and more. our goal is to bring arts and aging programs to those who have limited access, persons who are frail or marginalized. there are five distinct characteristics to our programming. they are: original, inspired by life stories and personal narratives, interactive and participatory, intergenerational, and enha
