kbh & daughters was founded in 2008 by kate hillier. graduate of a ba (hons) social policy with politics (2003), pgcert education: culture, language and identity (2005), pgdip business management (2008) and an msc in education (2012), kate hillier is very experienced in the art of academic language covering a range of subject areas. since kbh & daughters was founded, a number of freelance editors have joined the company reaching a significant portfolio of high quality work. the company's focus since 2008 has been with undergraduate and graduate students and their dissertations (9-15,000 words). however, the company has also become involved with phd theses (up to 100,000 words) and also papers in the senior academic world to be published in journals - not only in the uk, but usa - so an excellent knowledge of citation rules and methods has been applied to a range of academic subjects. snapshot examples can be provided on request on seeking permission from the author. what to be a
