hi, i'm kat :) i am kbk digital marketing. the truth is, i’m a musician who woke up one day and realised music was not the vehicle to get me where i wanted to go. having successfully used social media to build a community around the band i was in at the time, i decided to put my new-found knowledge to work and pursue a career in digital marketing. in 2011, i began my new career at a marketing agency in collingwood as office manager and social media coordinator. by 2014 i had worked my way up to a managerial position, responsible for the agency’s entire digital practice. in my role as digital manager my day-to-day work included: - developing, managing and maintaining social media campaigns and communities - overseeing major website development projects from concept to fruition - data analysis including google analytics - search engine optimisation (seo) strategy and implementation - search engine marketing (sem) campaigns including google adwords - client training - business
