kbw promotions llc is a family owned business that was formed to help boxers, and to put on exciting boxing events. ken weckstein brings to the company over 40 years of experience in law and a sports background (including driving harness horses). he is joined by daughter hilary, a general counsel for a technology company; son-in law nate morello, a lieutenant commander in the coast guard with a masters' degree from johns hopkins; and daughter alison, who has a masters' degree in special education. promotion of boxing is a complex undertaking that involves getting licenses, arranging for the boxers and paying them purses, contracting for the venue and sometimes the boxing ring, obtaining insurance, designing and printing posters and flyers, contracting for security, arranging for medical personnel and an ambulance, transporting boxers from around the country to the weigh-in and the fights, printing tickets, selling tickets on-line, hiring ring card girls, buying gloves for the boxers,
