the social and behavioral sciences & public services division is committed to the success of each student. our mission is to prepare tomorrows’ difference makers today, by offering students an exceptionally rich and rewarding educational experience through a critical approach to scholarship. courses in areas such as sociology, psychology, elementary education, paralegal, addiction counseling, criminal justice and early childhood helps prepare students for the complex issues facing our society while helping them prepare for transfer to a four-year institution to complete their bachelor’s degree or enhance their employment opportunities through a certificate program.
