"30 years of combined experiences, top educator meets veteran athletic guru and they change the trajectories of student athlete's lives together" kdt sports was founded by dr. kamilah hampton, a sports mom who saw a huge need in the chicagoland area and david reed a respected baseball coach experienced seeing a need for high-quality athletic training among black and brown athletes. within the chicagoland area, there are sports facilities, many of them only supporting or addressing a specific need. the facilities that were larger resided in a location not accessible to all student-athletes. many of them of these facilities provide context around supporting student academics yet there is an alarming need for student’s achieve high-quality at higher levels especially after experiencing education virtually in a global pandemic. sports and educational programming for all student-athletes is kdt sport’s priority and goal. as an educator and principal, kamilah set to establish a facili
