M Is for Mindful

from my first visit to india in 2011, i was in love. i came back in 2013 to start my 200 hour yoga teacher training (ytt) with rishikul yogshala, and came back to finish in 2016. in june 2018 i passed my 300 hour exam to become a 500 hour registered yoga teacher (ryt). in the mean time i have worked with several organisations to help make yoga more accessible to everyone. with a cafe in the famous vondelpark as a service to their customers, with sofie lievens yoga to teach more accessible classes around the city in partnership with venues, at the enter the wave surfcamp; for fellow students, co-workers, and friends; and even online while gyms were closed during the pandemic (see namastayathome)
