m & m sign & awning has 43 years of experience in upholstery and awning fabrication and installation. owner mike mere sr. began in 1978 working in the auto upholstery business for numan auto tops. after that mike mere sr. began his own auto upholstery company. after a few years in business, a customer approached mike and asked if he could make him an awning. after doing his research mike, sr. had a welding company make the framework while he made the awning cover. a few friends helped install the first awning made by our company. word of mouth is a powerful advertising tool, and it wasn't long before we had many more requests for awnings and m & m canvas and awning was born.
