myidealife is the materialization of the personality disorder, sometimes known as motherhood. it documents the somewhat hilarious journey of its’ writer, nicole mcinnes, from corporate marketer to mum of two boys only sixteen months a part and back again. an ex-award winning advertising creative, nicole focuses heavily on sharing engaging and beautiful content that commands an emotional response. whether it be laughter, empathy or action, myidealife uses words and images to compel and inspire. nicole also freelances for publications such as the daily telegraph, mamamia, justb, sydney’s child and in the powder room. but most days you’ll find her refereeing head-butting competitions, avoiding housework, tweeting addictively and instagraming photos of the various disasters that inevitably occur and that’s just at work (joking...my marketing department is much worse than that).
