mytalentplace is the uk’s first career networking site for students. it’s designed to help students develop better insights into the realities of specific careers and to help them take charge of their career planning. students are able to create their own emerging career profiles (a uk first), share these with one another, check out the good and bad of a range of career options as well as rate the attractiveness of careers. career counselling and mock interviews are available online from experienced business people. parents can get involved in a number of ways - by contributing video (or audio for those that are shy) about their role, helping to profile their career if it is not listed and joining their career forum to answer students’ questions.
