o’brien fabrications opened its doors for business in guelph, ontario by mike o’brien in july, 1989, with 2 employees, 1 pickup truck, and a 1000 square foot shop to work in. at that time, the primary source of business was supplying and installing metal flashing work for wm. green roofing, our partner company. gradually, our business grew to include metal siding and roofing, all types of hvac work, welding and fabrication, as well as specialty metals projects. we quickly outgrew our small shop on monarch road in guelph, so in 1999 we purchased and moved into a new facility at 45 dawson road. this facility furnished us with the room to expand and take on bigger projects and more staff. today, we are a thriving company with approximately 20 employees, 10 company vehicles on the road, and an 8000 square foot shop which includes welding, hvac, and flashing departments.
