O & R Rum

when we think of rum, we automatically think "rum & coke!" but around the caribbean islands rum is "the whiskey of the caribbean!" like the distilleries of scotland, each rum distillery produces its own version of what rum means to them. using local yeasts and water, the character and flavour of each rum is specific to the location where it is made. scotch whisky however has rules. rum has no rules. a scotch single malt will declare which distillery it is from. it will only contain whisky and caramel. the age statement declares the age of the youngest liquid in the bottle. rum is generally branded with a name that is unconnected to a specific distillery. the age statement is the oldest liquid in the bottle. rum can contain high levels of caramel or other flavours and spices such as vanilla. we founded o&r to bring the rules of whisky to rum. we believe this time honoured liquid can hold its own against the finest whiskies available. our rum is unadulterated, we do not even add wate
