outdoorchicks is eu community of passion driven, adventurous ladies who thrive to change whole outdoor female industry; together by helping and sharing. outdoor sports are one of the fastest growing sport sector and their popularity has stretched far beyond being a male domain. research from 2016 showed, that women are slowly catching up with men both in participation and performance in outdoor sports (outdoor participation report, 2016), however, women in sports face gender specific challenges and issues that are often overlooked in gender-mixed environment. therefore, we aim to give girls and women opportunity to enjoy their favorite sport in peer environment. sport is a great way to build self-confidence, find yourself and explore. we don’t want to focus only on riding steepest faces, discovering hidden places, biking the hardest trails or climbing the highest peaks, but rather on connecting females with a genuine passion for outdoor sports and love of nature. so that's why we are
