Overseas Education Services

in the fall of 2006, steve costa, with almost no financial means, founded what would become overseas education services (oes). yantai was in need of a great english language international school with a positive atmosphere. so, with nine students from four different families, yantai american school (yas) started holding classes in a two bedroom apartment that had been donated by a student’s family. the original staff consisted of steve, one paid american teacher, and parent volunteers. oes has since outgrown that two-bedroom apartment and has set out to capture the vision of developing schools that provide excellent education with a christian worldview.
