about us - owners corporate managers (formerly body corporates). i’m karin tessa, founder and director of owners corporation advocacy (oca). the processes and responsibilities of owners corporations (formerly known as body corporates) can be difficult to navigate. i founded oca in order to achieve better outcomes for both owners and residents living in shared communities. with over 10 years of experience in the industry i have first-hand knowledge as a committee member, owner and manager. i have worked diligently over the years to acquire the expertise needed to run a successful strata management business. i recognised an absence in the industry of a service that can provide advice, guidance and practical solutions to the many problems faced by owners and committee members under owners corporations. i sought to change that by founding a strata management business that understands these challenges and has the practical wherewithal to do something about it. we at oca care about you
