own your awesomeness promotes the empowerment of high school girls through summer camps and year-round workshops. led by strong female mentors and through a variety of skill-building workshops, oya coaches young women to be more confident and courageous and to activate their infinite potential. oya builds a network of women owning their own awesomeness. if you're interested in being a volunteer, a board member, a donor, or a participant, reach out! oya summer 2017: july 10-14, july 17-21, july 24-28 (oya 2.0) girls will develop financial literacy, learn how to change a tire, discuss women's representation in the media, play football, reflect on body image and self-love, create art, use power tools, explore the city of philadelphia, and more!
