the moto rapido ducati team progressed to the bennetts british superbike championship in 2011 after a season in the national superstock 1000 championship with scott smart. moto rapido racing, a small dealer-based team started by owner steve moore has been involved in club level racing with ducati since 2003. they moved to national level racing in 2009 when smart joined them to race the ducati 1198 in the superstock 1000 class. the team moved up to the superbike evo class in 2011 with smart and with their strong links to ducati uk and the italian factory's racing divisions they had a strong season. moto rapido ducati continue with tommy bridewell for his first full season campaign with the hampshire-based dealer team, and have also joined forces with oxford products in a new title partnership for the 2019 bennetts british superbike championship. bridewell joined the team at brands hatch last july and since then claimed the team their best results in the superbike class, scoring four
