Oxford University Labour Club

oxford university labour club is the largest university labour club in the uk. founded in 1919, oulc has been promoting democratic socialism and progressive politics in oxford for nearly a hundred years. we’re an active campaigning force; at the 2017 general election, we helped our local clp hold oxford east with an increased majority of 65.2%, and organised campaigning trips to the nearby marginals of battersea, kensington, hampstead, and croydon central. as well as getting our members out on the #labourdoorstep, we take positive action to promote social justice and equality within the universities and the wider oxford community. whether you’re a fresher or a finalist, oxford or brookes, oulc welcomes any member of the university who’s interested in the aims and values of the labour movement.
