Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action

we’re here to help you to help others. we advise, advocate, develop, inform and train. we support and empower volunteers, networks, partnerships and non-profit organisations big and small. our key projects at present are: - volunteer centre oxfordshire: working with ex-offenders into volunteering for rehabilitation and with those who have low or no computer skills - contract hub: working with commissioners to develop methods for better consortia creation in the voluntary sector in oxfordshire - data for good: an innovative and forward-thinking project to map the voluntary and not-for-profit sector in oxfordshire, map this to funders, and connect this to open data sets - open data publishing we also provide support to small non-profit groups, training, and create spin-out networks such as for stronger communities and those who work with children and young people across the county.
