Oyster Bay Cubby House
the cubby house has been established as a venue where like-minded men and women can come to practice their craft; turning timber into beautifully finished pieces of art, furniture or anything else you might like. based in a hall at oyster bay, we provide for wood turners and wood workers alike. membership (for a small fee to cover insurances) is open to those aged 14 years and up; which entitles you to full use of the facilities and equipment. we also provide training programs (eg: beginner woodturning) and have very experienced mentors available. as an aside, some members also make and donate around 500 toys to charitable organisations in the sutherland shire annually (christmas).
