q39 is a premiere full-service restaurant in kansas city serving traditional and inspired barbeque cuisine in a casual, contemporary setting. the company is led by experienced executive chef and owner, rob magee, who opened the original concept in mid-town kansas city in april 2014. we are excited for the new location in overland park opening sept 1, 2017. q39 has an urban rustic dining room with a full-service bar and staff. the unique kitchen is completely open, a far cry from the dank pits of traditional joints. our menu offers wood-fire grilled and barbeque-inspired dishes. food is prepared fresh daily using recipes refined by hundreds barbeque contests nation-wide by barbeque team munchin’ hogs. our teams are top-notch and thrive in a fast paced, goal oriented environment. the focus is to maintain the highest guest satisfaction by offering mouth-watering food, outstanding customer service in a clean, relaxed environment.
