qanbar ready mix has more than 40 years’ experience in the supply of quality ready mixed concrete, opening their first plant in 1980. joint ventures with international companies including steetly, redlands, lafarge & dywidag have complemented our experience and knowledge. when saudi arabia started to build mega industrial cities in jubail and yanbu in the 70’s, the al ansari group, in a bold move, opened a ready mix plant in dammam in 1978 in a venture with steetley of the uk, followed by a second plant in hofuf in 1980 their success inspired the group to set up qanbar ready mix in jubail 1980 alongside sister company qanbar dywidag precast concrete company (qdc), the largest precast operation in the eastern province. qdc was set up in partnership with dycherhoff and widmann (dywidag) of germany, before the al ansari group became its sole owner in 2002. as business flourished, qanbar steetley expanded into other parts of the kingdom and qrm into major cities of the kingdom qanbar re
