the queens college cyber security club is an open dialogue for all security related concepts and issues. we provide an open a dialogue between both staff and students on various related issues. we provide teaching for all related topics and concepts regarding the world of information security (infosec). this education, essentially, is providing both the resources and knowledge of computer and physical hacking! outside observers may wonder; is it really a good idea to teach college students how to hack into systems? yes! by teaching hacking and other related infosec topics; we provide the knowledge of how to design secure systems, which overall makes our societal security practices and methods stronger. in order to hack, those must understand the vulnerabilities of the systems they are attacking. once understood, they possess the knowledge to fix those vulnerabilities. by teaching hacking, we inspire those to pursue careers in infosec and develop knowledge of preventing malicious hack
