Quantum Computing Initiative

qci was created in response to the lack of resources available for undergraduates interested in quantum information processing. we understand how consequential this new field will become and by making quantum computing accessible to younger students we hope to inspire a wave of bright minds to pursue a career in quantum information. qci is lead by a board of self-taught officers who strive to understand and reformulate the core ideas of quantum computing in a way that undergraduate students are prepared to engage with. weekly meetings center around foundational concepts within quantum information theory and build upon one another, working up to the analysis of quantum algorithms. we are thankful to the quantum information center at ut austin with whom we work closely to ensure the quality of our meeting content.
