Qi Films

we are independent filmmakers who believe in film as a tool for change. we believe that films have the power to breathe life into diverse subjects, and the capacity to inform viewers far and wide. we take our name from the chinese word for "life force" and hope to emulate this ideal in all the work we do. film allows for uncensored storytelling where important matters can be examined. whether in drama or documentary, film can offer valuable insights into a huge range of subjects. from current affairs to human rights, through this medium we can see the world as it is, as it isn't, and how it could be. that is the aim for qi films. we seek to emulate our namesake and drive life through the subjects and topics that matter. with this goal in mind, we should like to introduce our debut documentary, set to be aired on the 20th july.
