qik group is one of the oldest, most experienced independent suppliers of portable accommodation and serviced toilets to construction, civil engineering and house building companies and to local authorities, hospitals, schools and to the general public. we can trace our history back to 1946 when, following the end of world war 2, mr & mrs i clifton started an industrial workwear company selling boiler suits, warehouse coats and donkey jackets to local builders and other businesses in and around london. as their reputation for service and reliability grew, their customers asked them for sheds, hutting and storage buildings and shelters and so it was that one of the first portable building companies started in the uk. some 70 years later, qik group – privately owned and managed by members of the original clifton family – operates from 4 regional centres in south east england and hires and sells a comprehensive range of modern portable buildings and toilets.
