i founded quarter mile base technologies in 2022. the company name pays homage to several values i had in mind when starting the company: tenacity, pride in quality work, and a sense of community. quarter mile base was the citizen band radio handle for the farm where my mother grew up. the family farm had cb radios in the combine, tractor, grain truck, and the farmhouse; whenever someone needed something in the field, the request always arrived at the house through the cb radio starting with “quarter mile base, are you by? …” tenacity, admiring a job well done, and a strong sense of community are central themes in many rural saskatchewan settings–our farm and community were no exception. we strive to exemplify the best of these qualities in the work we do at qmb tech. a strong affinity for finding solutions to practical problems was also a result of growing up in rural saskatchewan. like many other proud companies in the canadian prairies, we focus on providing innovative pragmatic s
