qobok kl is a malaysian-based contemporary fashion brand that puts a clean, modern-minimalist twist on traditional malay clothing. we take pride in producing garments that are high-quality materials and excellent workmanship, without compromising the “traditional look” of the clothing. established in 2019, qobok kl acquired it’s name from a javanese term, which essentially means “a group of people”. our co-founder was inspired by the phrase after having lived in indonesia for a few years during his teenage years. the word ‘qobok’ resonates with our kurta & baju melayu because we believe that our garments look great on a person, but even better when worn as a group. the best kurta in town!
