qra is a privately held company based in london. the purpose behind qra is to save lives by using the power of data and technology combined. what is qra? qra is an application based system that is aimed (currently) at cyclists and motorcyclists. the way the system operates is very simple and easy to use. all the user has to do is simply go onto the app and input the required details. such as, a photo of themselves, blood type, next to kin, medical allergies etc.. after this is done, the application would then generate a unique qr code to the user. this is the user’s permeant identification. we then would receive a notification from the app and would then send five laminated sticker codes to the user. the user then would stick the codes on the relevant places (helmet, bike frame, etc). should the user be unfortunate enough to ever be involved in an accident all the paramedics/ police would have to do is simply scan the code and gain all the relevant information to save the person’s life
