qreserve was founded in march 2014 as a spin-out from mcmaster university to help promote the research capabilities and capacity of mcmaster research facilities. qreserve has since grown to include thousands of laboratories and research facilities around the world. starting as a simple resource listing service, qreserve has expanded to offer state-of-the-art facility management tools that aim not only to streamline facility access but also to gather and report on critical capacity measurements that lead to improved utilization, revenue generation, investment justification, and capability promotion. our vision for qreserve is to improve the visibility and transparency of both public and private sector organizations to help align resource owners with resource users and ultimately increase efficiency and spending.
