Quantum Sports & Learning Association - Qsla

qsla is a toronto based non-profit organization that is committed to improving mathematic literacy, particularly in marginalized student populations. we use evidence based research to develop novel educational programs that aim to increase students' mathematics self-efficacy. our novel program, ballmatics, explores the effects of a sports-based mathematics intervention in middle school youth. our fundraising consist of an adult, co-ed basketball league that we host wednesday nights in the corso italia neighbourhood in toronto. all adult fees in excess of league costs are channeled into our educational initiatives. we hope to be the leaders in improving the mathematics literacy scores of middle school youth in toronto.
