with a staunch commitment to eliminate the menace of load shedding from the country, the government of punjab under the able leadership of the chief minister punjab has taken the initiative of establishing a 1180 mega watt power plant in bhikki, district sheikhupura. the project is being established under the power policy 2015 of the government of pakistan and is being conceived as one of the leading initiatives with most efficient machines and lowest project cost. the project is proceeding on a very fast track to meet its compressed completion timelines. the bhikki plant is scheduled to start simple cycle operations by providing 800 mw of electricity before summer 2017 while the operations on combined cycle mode will commence from winter 2017 which will enhance the production to 1180 mw. the bhikki project shall use rlng as its primary fuel and shall employ the highest efficiency machines to keep the cost of electricity to the end consumer at its bare minimum. the project has negotiat
