the key objective of the qualitative research association of sri lanka (qras) is to encourage qualitative research in sri lanka, primarily within academic and organizational setting. to do this, we aim to create awareness of: - diverse approaches/methods to qualitative research and - various topic areas/contexts qualitative research can be employed. we also aim to promote various other research methods, and research conducted in sri lankan context to establish their presence in the wider world. our ultimate goal is to be the key force that drives sri lanka towards a ‘research informed society’.
