(qei) has provided contract quality control and quality assurance services to the power and heavy construction industries for over thirty years. qei has well over 175 years of combined professional engineering experience in power generation and transmission, heavy civil construction, mechanical and electrical systems design and installation, heavy and light rail transit, highways and quality control testing and inspection. qei resources include professional civil, electrical, mechanical and quality engineers and field quality control personnel. qei is currently providing overall program quality assurance management for the transbay terminal center program, which includes construction of a new terminal on the site of the original facility and the below-grade extension of the caltrain commuter service. the transbay transit center will become the northern terminal for the california high speed rail project. qei is also providing qa/qc on the sbta
