quality guild is an established (1994) network of quality assessed suppliers that usually win work through the tendering process. they are able to achieve this by implementing and maintaining a quality management system that is externally assessed annually, following the principles of iso 9000 and is specifically adapted for the small and medium (sme) size company. during 2011, a number of members have asked if we could introduce an environmental system following the principles of iso 14000 to enable them fulfil various tender requirements. therefore, new for 2012 is the introduction of the qg environmental management system (ems) which will run in conjunction with our established qg quality management system (qms) approval. since the launch of the ems businesses have highlighted the need for a system utilising the principles of iso 27000, therefore we have introduced the qg information security management system to our growing portfolio of sme standards. i am sure you will be able to
