norge trenger en faglig forening innen kvalitetsstyring, miljøstyring, sikkerhetsstyring (begreper som også blir omtalt som hms eller sha) og risikostyring (inkluderer security) som dekker bredt, i første omgang med fokus på å betjene kompetansebehov og være en diskusjons-/møteplass for små og mellomstore bedrifter og offentlige organer. foreningen skal også fremme innovasjon og virksomhetsutvikling innen de nevnte fagområder. foreningen vil ha nær kontakt med europeiske og internasjonale foreninger/miljøer som er aktive innen de samme områdene. det er ønskelig og et mål å opprette partnerskap og samarbeid med norske/europeiske/internasjonale foreninger/miljøer. quality norway vil ha fokus på rent praktiske og tekniske problemstillinger med tilhørende ledelse. foreningen vil dekke alle bransjer, både i offentlig og privat sektor. foreningen vil søke å tiltrekke seg anerkjente fagpersoner fra sentrale norske institusjoner/organisasjoner som styremedlemmer, foredragsholdere og medlemmer
