qci is a construction manager/general contractor located in santa clara, and we focus on tenant improvement construction for clients within the restaurant, hospitality, retail, electronics, biotechnology, and office t.i. market segments. we like to think of ourselves primarily as a general contractor, but our services have greatly expanded the gc role to include both facilities management and construction management. we usually get involved during the early phases of the projects, as this allows us the opportunity to deliver our preconstruction services, including budgeting, value engineering and design input, at the point in the projects where these items are of the greatest importance, early design development. we pride ourselves on providing our services at the same level as the larger general contractors, but at a lesser cost. our labor rates, overhead and fee structure are very competitive compared to most general contractors in the bay area. with that said, our project procedures
