this organization creates a forum for a rapidly developing and emerging multifaceted field of study to be discussed for the first time at the university of miami. as each day that passes the financial field becomes more and more integrated with technology, specifically computer science. finance is typically a social science, and it is being taught and discussed this way by most schools, however, by melding the skills of engineering and finance students, this organization creates the opportunity for both pedagogies to diversify their skill set in an applied manner. an aim of this organization is to create networking opportunities for this industry of quantitative finance… through this, the organization will expand the perspective of engineering students into the financial industry and expand the perspective of business students into the engineering industry, this creates a medley of intellectual exchange that will contribute to a more complex system of problem solving in the technologic
