(previously known as chatham industries, inc.) is a 509 (a)(3) private, not-for-profit subsidiary corporation of the coastal center for developmental services*. quantum currently operates four distinct commercial businesses. our largest and most versatile business is quantum packaging & assembly. this business offers services for all of your assembly, kitting, bulk-mailing, order fulfillment and packaging needs. we also operate quantum specialized assembly which handles wiring and small-part assemblies for many local manufacturers. we also have quantum catering for your business meetings, as well as quantum printing for custom company & event t-shirts, embroidery, napkins and ribbons. quantum, inc. is designed using a social enterprise model. this means that we develop successful, growing commercial business to generate profits and to generate quality jobs for people with disabilities and/or disadvantages. in this sense we have a "dual bottom line": a financial bottom lin
