queen city unity is an irs 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization focused on promoting and driving diversity, inclusion, equity, and equality in the city of charlotte, nc, and its surrounding areas. it is our goal to unite the citizens of charlotte by providing diversity education sessions, community programs that connect its citizens to those that serve and govern, leading charitable initiatives, hosting community festivals/events that celebrate our diversity and bring people together, and creating awareness around social injustice. our organization is structured around our 4 pillars of unity, which are our core initiatives. pillar i- serve the community queen city unity works alongside other nonprofit organizations in charlotte to drive their mission statements and provide a pool of volunteers in the community. additionally, we host our own charitable activities that serve the homeless, foster children, students below the poverty line, and charlotteans in need. pillar i
