(at least 6 regional public broadcasters and 120 schools in 2011 ) s-tv ging in 2009 van start onder het motto ‘learning by doing’. met lesmodules, technisch advies, bijscholing en intensief contact helpen speciaal aangestelde coördinatoren bij de regionale omroepen de middelbare scholen om video-onderwijs op te zetten. s-tv spreekt jongeren aan in hun eigen beeldtaal en maakt volop gebruik van het medium internet. leerlingen verspreiden en bekijken filmpjes niet alleen via de website van s-tv maar ook via facebook, hyves en youtube. elke week zendt de regionale omroep de beste filmpjes uit die door scholieren zijn geproduceerd. de leerlingen ervaren die uitzending als extra motiverend. want wat is er mooier dan je eigen werk op televisie terug te zien en te kunnen delen met andere scholieren?
